The Bilio Mask is composed of our proprietary SilverKiss™ antimicrobial technology featuring a knit blend of recycled polyester and silver yarns. All our yarns are made and sourced in the U.S.A. and designed to be washable and reusable. This specialized material is breathable, form-fitting, comfortable against the skin, prevents “maskne,” and more sustainable than using virgin plastics.

The silver yarns powered by X-STATIC® are registered by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and release positively charged silver ions in the presence of moisture. This prohibits microorganism growth, controls odor, and eliminates bacteria on contact. We conduct testing with our material partners and certified labs to collect data and inform our decisions.

Our proprietary SilverKiss™ antimicrobial technology can be reused with over 250 washes without compromising performance. Bacterial Filtration Efficiency (BFE) is approx. 90% measuring with a particle size of .27 microns. Particle Filtration Efficiency (PFE) is approx. 85% measuring with a particle size of .1 microns.
